CONFERENCE OF PERS. SEOUL – At Korea Blockchain Week, Iskra presented their plans for the future of video game publication in the Web3 age. Now that we have access to this technology, we can create a community where players, programmers, and the platform as a whole can all benefit. According to Ben Colayco, MD of Global Iskra, “every stakeholder (particularly gamers) now has an opportunity to share the overall value provided by the gaming experience, from digital asset ownership, fandom growth, and community involvement.”
Based on how actively they participate, Iskra intends to share up to one hundred percent of all platform fees with each stakeholder. The Iskra Community Rating System uses metrics including node uptime, staked Iskra native tokens (ISK), and exclusive use of platform services to determine membership. To establish a dynamic in which players are not the primary source of money but instead partake in the value created by the game experience, this form of Game Publishing for Web3 involves them as stakeholders from the very beginning. The goal of this arrangement is to set in motion a virtuous cycle in which a highly engaged user base draws the greatest content, which in turn helps to expand the highly engaged user base, all the while benefiting all parties involved in the process.
Iskra's approach to gaming partnerships is informed by the studio's history in game production and the web3's potential as a platform for genre-specific content. Based on these considerations, Iskra has added HDLABS to its roster of game developers. HDLABS is no stranger to the blockchain gaming scene thanks to its title “Stepwatch,” its game's working title is Move to Earn (M2E), and it is now adapting up to 30 games from Web2 to Web3. It was announced that HDLABS and Iskra would be releasing the turn-based role-playing game “Three Kingdoms Multiverse” in the fourth quarter of 2022.
With Grampus's successful restaurant simulation game “Cooking Adventure,” Rich Alien's 3-game puzzle “Cascade Kings,” and Iskra's own in-house project, Iskra now has a full game roster of four verified and highly experienced studio titles. The “Klaymon” collectible role-playing game focuses on the Pokémon. At the end of 2022, perhaps more game and partnership announcements will be made.
Mr. Seok-ju LEE, CEO of HDLABS feels that “The combination of our gaming knowledge, Iskra blockchain know-how, and an engaged community will create the next generation of engaging and sustainable gaming experiences for web3.”
Mr Ji-in KIM, CEO of GRAMPUS stated “We agree with Iskra's idea of Play AND Earn, not only Play TO Earn to foster true enjoyment and sustainability.”

After the release of the free mobile app, Rich Alien plans to improve both game design and game stats.
